Saharah Shrout, MA, LPC-S

Hi, I’m Saharah Shrout, the owner of OCD & Anxiety Treatment of Houston (OATH Therapy). I’m passionate about providing quality care for people dealing with OCD, anxiety, and related disorders. My mission is to help others understand the proper treatment for these conditions and to do my part in reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.

I earned my BA in Psychology and Sociology and my MA in Christian Counseling from Houston Baptist University. Since 2003, I’ve dedicated my career to treating OCD, OC-Spectrum Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders. My journey started with training at The Menninger Clinic's OCD Program, and I later became the Program Manager at the Houston OCD Program, where I worked in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential settings.

I’m always looking to grow and learn more about the best ways to help my clients. I’ve been trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) treatment, the Bergen 4-Day Treatment (B4DT) model, and I’m a graduate of the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI).

When I’m not at work, you’ll find me spending time with my family or diving into one of my favorite podcasts. I’m committed to supporting my clients on their journey to better mental health and helping to spread awareness about the importance of effective, evidence-based treatments.

Megan Pike, Pre-Licensed Professional

Hi, I’m Megan Pike, a graduate-level clinical intern working on my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston. I’m currently under the supervision of Saharah Shrout, MA, LPC-S, as I work toward becoming a licensed professional counselor.

My goal is to create a warm and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings with compassion, acceptance, and empowerment. Instead of giving you quick answers, I’m here to help you discover your own strengths and abilities. Together, we’ll create a safe environment where you can fully embrace who you are and unlock your true potential.

If you’re dealing with anxiety, grief, depression, or any other emotional challenges, I’m here to support you in reclaiming your life. Through effective tools and strategies, I’ll help you build confidence and find joy again. Choosing to attend therapy is a big step, and I’m honored to be part of your journey toward transformation.

My approach is client-centered and strength-based, focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and change unhelpful thoughts. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, helping each person navigate their unique challenges and achieve personal growth.
