Meet Megan!

Hello and welcome! My name is Megan Pike and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a new member of OATH Therapy. I am currently serving as a Clinical Intern under the supervision of Saharah Shrout, LPC-S. I am receiving my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston. My journey into the field of therapy has been driven by firsthand experiences as well as a profound desire to create a nurturing environment where individuals can reclaim their life.

My goal is to foster a safe space where you can freely show up and embark on a journey of self-rediscovery. I believe in the power of therapy not just to alleviate symptoms, but to equip you for life change. Rather than providing quick fixes or easy answers, I am here to guide you through a process of uncovering your own strengths and capabilities. Together, we will work collaboratively to address challenges such as anxiety, grief, depression, and other emotional distress. With effective tools and strategies, grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I aim to empower you to cultivate self-efficacy and rediscover a sense of excitement for life.

I tailor our sessions to meet your unique needs, ensuring that you feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way. By utilizing CBT techniques, we can work together to restructure unhelpful and unhealthy thought patterns, ultimately helping you achieve greater emotional resilience and well-being.

Choosing to embark on a therapeutic journey can be a significant decision, and I am honored to be a part of your path towards healing and reclaiming your life. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, I am here to provide compassionate guidance and effective interventions.

If you're ready to take the next step towards a more fulfilling life, I encourage you to reach out. Together, we can create a roadmap for your journey—one that honors your strengths, embraces your challenges, and celebrates your progress.

Thank you for considering me as your partner in this transformative process. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path towards a healthier, happier you.

When I am not studying for school, I spend time with my husband, our dog (Ro) and two cats (Bunny & Olive)! I enjoy the outdoors, travelling, cycling class, playing board games, and puzzles.
